  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Ok,

I am slightly back to UT. The only problem I have is my commitment as a host which takes a lot of spare time (UT and web wise).

I will try to catch up soon with beta testing again. I can see that there is a LOT to catch up when I check the Zound thread.

Anyway Ben, I would like to ask you something.

First, did you try ConText as an editor ? It also has highlighter for Unreal Script and million others.

http://www.context.cx/

2nd .. Frogger and myself were talking over the past few days regarding problems with silient Admin login in AntiTCC and UAdmin Mod ..

Is there a way that you could either build this feature into UT2Vote or release a small mut which gives that feature ? I mean removing the word ADMIN when logged in and the message when appearing on the chat part ...

It would be great, believe me :)

Mephisto, yes I did try ConTEXT and like it very much except his later versions from 98.0 onwards have some very major bugs and the author is a very difficult person to talk to.
We exchanged about 4 emails but he INSISTED that I ask my question on his forum and when I went there all I saw was a bunche of idiots who like the saound of their own voices so to speak.
Also this Eden guy only likes answer 1 question out of 20.
I use the File Compare a lot and although the 97.4 works great the 98.0 onwards have major bugs in them and I pointed them out and begged him to fix it but came to the conclusion he is just another ******* playing around with Delphi 4 so I went back to UltraEdit.

Regarding the Admin silent logon or what ever, UT2Vote has had that since version 4.4 I think although its not well documented and is a little difficult to use.
I mean removing the word ADMIN when logged in and the message
This is very difficult and you need to rewrite the whole of the Admin code and would add a lot to UT2Vote.
Maybe we could make a stand alone mut, or add it to UTExtra.

I can get silent admin to work if I use uadmin95b, but make sure this option is off in Uadmin and on in antitcc118H.

replace in your ut2004.ini: AccessControlClass=Engine.AccessControl with AccessControlClass=xAdmin.AccessControlIni

then login or bind a key in your user.ini with: Mutate SilentAdminLogin userhere passwordhere.

hope it works, it did for me.
