For Xbox 360 and PS3, that is, according to ShackNews. If the PC is your gaming platform of choice then you can expect a delay similar to that of the original. If the port is equally as solid, I don't think anyone will complain to loudly.

In today's conference call, Riccitiello said that Mass Effect 2 will arrive on multiple platforms, which means it could hit both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at launch.

Totally agree with you. I already installed it twice, because I re-formated (windows...) so I am now running a crapped up OS because I don't wanna waste my last activation. What happens if I have no more shots left? :/

And about the turian, th at would be awesome, but not only for one race. I think they should leave the race choice up to the player for the second ME if it's not exclusively entitled to the storyline.

Its PC/Xbox360 only as statet in the official Press Release - sounds like a simultaneous release of both versions (Bioware already statet before that there wont be such a gap between Xbox360 and PC Versions of Mass Effect Sequels like the first game).

How are they going to make a decent sequel after the first one though ?
I mean most characters will be maxxed out so a reset (aka 'you forgot everything you had learned'-approach won't fly).

And there's the question as to which 'ending' is going to be the one used by the sequel.
