Yeah, just his flashlight- something that huge is gonna do some serious damage.. A small bolt will totally fuck up the fan blades and cause other serious damage- something like a flashlight is gonna make any crew chief cry..

this is REALLY interesting to me, because I'm one year away from graduating High-school and I don't know what I want to be.

so far the Air force sounds good, but I'd aim to be an officer (basically because you probably don't get pushed around quite as much, and only officers can be pilots), I would just like to know what I have to do to get to that.

yeah, ya need a degree in something first- the military offers ways to get your degree while enlisted. Just make sure you aim for a job that'll give you the time- working on the flightline doesn't always give you the time you need, and you're going to have to deal with things like swing shifts, late late hours, early early mornings, etc - so you may be well into your second enlistment before you're done with college. At that point, you may change your mind..
