Box

Yes, a big ol' box! With cubes of water just floating in the air! With some catwalks, platforms, and stairs, too. I already made the big ol' box part, too.

I've been told that real surrealism has to convey a deep meaning about our universe, not just "Wouldn't it be cool if there was a clown in the top of the tower?"....

Just something to think about. Try and get a theme for your surrealist level.

(Seeing as we've had a Willy Wonka reference already,) remember the room at the end with the clocks which were only half there? And the other half was invisible? That could symbolise how theres no time left, or how nothing gets finished, or I don't know what it symbolises, I shouldn't have mentioned it.

But there should be some symbolism in your level I, recon.

(Am I spelling recon right? Someone needs to spellcheck my posts.)

Corn raddish!

I have a theme, it's a big, white box with metal platforms and catwalks, some other white rooms, some wooden planks, floating spheres, Jetsons style tubes, and cubes of water floating around. Perhaps I should call it abstraction? Anyway, it's nice 'n' funky. Anyone know how to make brushes be shiny (like what dragonfly told me about for meshes, only for brushes)?

I haven't posted cheese in a while...

...

Fine...
You can look at this instead. It's not a great pic, but it gives you a slight idea of what the feel of my map will be.

I don't know if I've told you yet, but my 3RD (THIRD) attempt won't open correctly. I don't know WHY this keeps happening, but it does. Right now, I'm too discouraged to try again. It was gonna be cool/funky, too!

Naw, just reinstalling the patch reinstalls UEd. I did that when the map editing grids started being all white. I'm pretty sure that's not the problem.
