First off, this concerns Unreal - NOT Unreal Tournament. I've checked tons of messages about LAN problems, and they are all posts regarding UT - as are the responses.
Ok, I have a small 2-computer network, with Unreal (not UT) installed with the latest patch. Both computers are running Win98 SE and have the most up-to-date drivers and all network drivers installed. If I start a game on either computer, the other one can't see any games. If I allow the game to dial out and connect to the Internet, a ton of servers will show up under the tabs, so that aspect is working fine.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
