and climb trees!! How hard would it be? It would be like a ladder in some way. Then people can hide in a tree and frag just like real soldiers!! It would be cool to see a sniper in a tree and knock him out of the tree with a M249!

I wonder if this isn't something that the map designer would do, just make a tree and put an invisible ladder on it (would that work?)

I like the idea of sitting in a tree with a Robar, be a lot like deer hunting.

yeah, they could put invisible ladders around trees with say, a higher gravity setting around them as well so it takes a bit longer to climb... then again current trees in UT don't look like they could support or hide a human in them /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It would take a damn good mapper to come up w/ bsp-based trees that you can climb, remain acceptable in polycount, and yet still look good. But it's definitely a worthy goal.
