I'm with Whitey... Trackball > Mouse. I'll never switch, and therefore will always have teh n00b aim/movement (until MS/Logi makes an affordable high-dpi trackball).

Trackball keeps my aim close enough to spam effectively in most cases... All I need. Actually I'm thinking of trying to make someone buy(steal) me a slightly nicer one.

Well if you're going the theft route, get one of those drafter's trackballs. They're usually hundreds of dollars, but they are super-high precision and last forever.

Those are pretty nice but the problem with them is they are designed for slow deliberate movements. They usually have extra weight in the ball to make sure its smooth and consistent. (no hopping)

When I feel like messing around with it I will turn my mouse sensitivity down and my mouses resolution up.
