So when you kill a bot is the bot program still running ... does it think its alive but its actually just running around unarmed?

hmm.. That could mean cpu cycles are used that don't need to be.

Well, standard INF 2.9 places bots hidden and into a Null state so that they should do nothing at all.

However... we have several mutators here that affect players on and after respawn. Most are not even checking if it is a bot or not that they 'affect' and are doing stuff blindly no matter if it is a real player or only a bot. Maybe one of these mutators is causing this then.

Check out the log if this happens again... can include some hints maybe on who is responsible for this.

Okay, I was playing tonite and had the mass of dead ghosts again ... the only mutator on the list I have selected is the rolling grenades one.

I've seen this a few times lately involving knife-kills on bots. Can't replicate with any reliablity yet.

I've seen this as well. I was playing EAS Cuban Dawn with a one man team against 10 or so others and after the defenders respawned they all ghosted after me.

This has got to be the msot entertaining bug I've ever seen.

I'm glad I don't have it, that could get annoying. This is just...disturbing. You're haunted Zundy...what else can be said?
