Yea RoN2 is actually RoL. Rise of Legends. Your basic magic vs technbology kinda stuff. The graphics look pretty good, and I'm glad they decided to take a new turn with the series. A RoN2 would probably just be a graphical improvement since the gameplay is top notch already.

It seems ive come up against an invisible barrier:
You cant get your home city past level 9, or my demo is broke becuase it says I need -14,000 experence to level it.

i just did some bandwidth tests and got 20,345 kbps down/3345 kbps up. 20 mbps is still a lot lower than what i got on the demo download, i think i'm maxing out the bandwidth test servers.

i'm sure they block file sharing, but when i do torrent something i will make an effort to seed it.

Just recieved my new 6600gt and PSU from newegg today, and gave this demo a shot. It's pretty fun, though I honestly don't see too much of a difference between this and AoE2.

And on a side note, running the FEAR demo was amazing on this upgrade, even though my card turned into a heater. The difference is insane when I go from this to this, and end up with about the same framerate in the latter as I had in the first.

Only the installer doesnt work. What others are doing is they are installing on another computer with winXP and transfering the files over to their win2k machine.

what is up with the peter griffen style agony!

I know you can get him back if his forces come to his aid after he has healed to full, but damn, it looks really stupid.

especially if he falls in the middle of town.
I had build around my opponent's explorer who died near one of my forts.

That really is BS, I payed alot of money for my W2K Licences and I'm not paying €600,- again just to get an OS upgrade. Besides it's not like XP is doing stuff W2K can't. :tdown:

@tool: I don't have XP on any of my machines exept in my car, and I'm not going to bother there..
