Mmmm... zen....
Bah. Tomorrow's the day I've been dreading for months now. I've been suffering from excruciating pains and impactions galore, so it's somewhat of a relief. Still, the thought of someone I hardly know putting me on heavy barbituates and cutting me repeatedly isn't the most appealing thing. I miss two days of school and get Vicodin galore **, but I'm just dreading the whole thing. I'm not going to think about it. Meh. Bah! I'm so scared...

I'm not in any pain, but the lower two are impacted and nearly horizontal while the upper two have grown in relatively normally.

I've had a ton of more 'serious' surgeries (tonsils removed, etc.) but, man, is the anticipation on this one killing me. At least they hurt like hell - I'm not sorry to see the painful little bastiges removed. :p

I have one impacted tooth, and one so badly decayed it's a miracle it hasn't blown up on me yet. All four are set to be removed. My top two are coming out on the 14th, I have to make an appointment with an oral surgeon for the bottom two.

But I ain't scared. Know why? Cause I'm an awesome super sweet ninja that feels no pain (and if I do I will flip out and start cutting off heads).

Everywhere but here or there
get put to sleep for it...unless you like...o i wont tell you about taht until after...dont wana scare you hehe...but really ther is nothing to be afraid of....try this though..close your eyes and breath deeply and think of the beach for like 5 to 10 minutes, thenimagine your fear as a number, and under that nuber there is a big dial, now focus on the dial and the number, and keep thinking the nuber IS you fear..now turn the dial down one or two numbers...until you start to feel a little better...now turn it a few more...untill you feel better....dont turn it too many, or all the way to zero,,,or less then 5 or it wont work......this sounds stupid i know....but it really helps.....just dont think about anything but the number and the dial...good luck!

I got one wisdom tooth pulled last year......

I have to tell you.....the build up ahead of time is probably the worst part of it. Once you're in the chair, and the whole thing is done.....and it will be done quickly.....it will seem like a paper tiger.

Don't sweat it, kid :)

i had mine out when i was 11. they werent in yet so they had to pull them from within my gums.
then there was the gum surgery to retract my gums so they could get at my 12 year old molar, which is now 50% filling.
after i threw up blood all over the carpet, it wasnt too bad. eat popsicles all day and watch movies. :)

At 11 rogue? Woah. I got mine out ... uh ... a little while ago. Don't remember when. Anyhoo, I got 1) a sleepy pill 8 hours ahead of time b) pain meds in my arm c) gas untill I was giddy. It was great! It feels so good, you're so relaxed and I was (apparently) drooling all over the place for about 3 hours ... untill I regain conciousness. Was kind of funny; my mom apparently drove me around a whole bunch before I got home. I remember sitting in the chair, getting all gased up, then walking up the stairs to the living room.

Don't worry, lots of ice cream pops and movies, and remember to keep your jaw clamped down on that gause; it'll make things a lot easier in the end. And lots of apple sauce. Lots. And stay away from chips. YOu don't want chips getting in the sockets. That hurts.

Enjoy!
