Congrats on your enlistment, I had always thought you would go for the marines for the family tradition value of it.

But hey, this has the added bonus of pissing your old man off. Never knew any Marine, ex or otherwise that had something good to say about the navy.

my father is thrilled that i picked navy. his father (my grandfather) was navy.
and my job (Search and rescue) makes him even more the prouder.
perhaps if i get the nerve, ill attempt SEAL training.
