It's a nice update. I'll be ditching my iPhone in April for an Atrix. It would be nice to see this on Android, too. The Deathless Kings are challenging.

I haven't heard the words "add-on" and "free" in the same sentence since the Titan Pack. Nice. If I ever have an iPad or something else that plays this game, I'll get it for sure.

That's because MS has a policy that virtually forces most of the developers out of releasing DLC for free. You don't have this restriction in the App Store.

EDIT: Really surprised they haven't announced a Kinect or Move version of this game yet.

And Thais also because infinity
Blade is a pay-to-win game. You'll get up in the leaderboards faster if you spend real money on ingame gold. This is what they make money for, this is why the update is free and this is why I didn't buy it. I prefer games where the best players are at the top of the leaderboards. Not those who're spending the most money.

If I want that, I go to www.paythegame.net

You don't get a lot of gold for what you pay. You can, for example, buy 2.5mil gold for $50. That only saves you half a day of gold farming. The leaderboard is currently glitched, but some people on Epic forums have 50mil+ gold. Do you really think someone would pay $1k to get that much gold?

Besides there are several IB leaderboards, like highest bloodline and highest GK beaten, which are regarded more highly than most gold because it's about your skill rather than the time you spent on the game.

Buying gold is only there to appease dumb people who expect that in every experience based game on the iPhone. It's also an incredible ripoff and defeats the whole purpose of the game. But I wouldn't put it past anyone how much they would spend on it. This other game I have called World War people spend thousands of dollars to buy income buildings so they can power build lots of things.

Agreed. I think it's a ripoff, but hey if people want to spend money to essentially cheat their way through the game more power to them.

At the same time, I can totally understand why Valve has a shop for TF2 items and I don't begrudge them for doing it. I can't put my finger on why exactly the $->Gold exchange in IB is worse than the TF2 Mann Co store which is weird to me.

Also would like to see this on Android. I just had to get rid of my crappy iPhone. I think the issue with an Android version is that there are so many different phones and HW that it would be hard to scale it to perfrom good on all phones, whereas you have the iphone, and they are all the same (the 3G can't play this game (atleast mine can't))3GS and the 4 series.

So this might be the reason why they haven't done it. That or it's because Android isn't locked down like iPhones are so maybe they are worried about piracy? But then again, you can still do that with your iphone too, so who knows!

Yeah, could be. I think Android Market lets you specify specific hardware requirements. They could also just release it through Tegra Zone or something.
