Yes, all good advice. Also, try sniper only and shock only to get good at other weapons. My fav. weapon is the flak and I'm best with it, but that doesn't mean I really suck at the other weapons.....I suck at all of them.

It's always good to be consistent.

lol well i had blast and just finshed a few mins ago.....can def say i got my a$$ handed to me online lol! i cant get on with use movement as a means of aiming, it only works for far away targets, but still doesnt seem to help me, i feel im never going to get back up to scratch

Someone observed a while back that if you are not moving when you fire, then the target "hit box" is somehow bigger so you've got more chance of hitting.

On mouse aim, is swinging the crosshairs across the target and trying to fire as it moves across them, more likely to get a hit on a moving target than trying to move the mouse to the target and then firing?

Or maybe one should give up on aiming and go for the impact hammer.

That's only true with the Sniper Rifle, and it only holds true for the headshot hitbox, not the body.

About the whole jumping vs dodging thing. It really depends on what kind of people you are playing.

If you are playing vs people who just jump/double jump everywhere, dodging will probably be more effective vs them since they aren't used to it. This also applies to people who dodge everywhere in the opposite manor. They forget how to kill people who jump everywhere.

Then there are people who know how to counter both types of movement and use whatever they feel is the best for the situation.



If you still can't aim just stick with rox/flak/combos and don't walk out into large open areas too much.

hm...well i use to be real good with my aim...thats just it, but last time i was sniping all my mates was way back a good 3 years ago in fact, since then ive pretty much mastered the flak and never bother with teh sniper, even if i picked it up i would just run to anouther weapon! maybe im just not ment to be someone who use's hitscan lol, well im going to keep practicing really want to wipe the smile of daves face (guy im playing and his mates of course) should be an intresting match!
