How do you control....

I use a MS forcefeedback pro joy stick. no I can`t stife but I can move slowly in any dirrection verses just one speed. I have jump and duc...next weapon and 4 taunts with the one unit. My fingers are too fat for the key board....I`m always hitting more then one key or the wrong ones and when combined with a roller mouse....the mouse never moves so my hands not whippin all over the desk top.
How do you control yours??

I tried that joystick-mouse combo ... man it sucks!

I use the esdf keyboard keys for movement, space to jump, v to crouch. It's just like the default for Tribes2, and we *all* know how 1337 that game is!

LMB: primary fire
RMB: jump
up/down MW: next/previous weapon

arrows: fwd, bkwd, strafe l, strafe r
RSTRG: secondary fire
numpad: covered with taunts/commands
numpadperiod: crouch
end: drop weapon

why would you want to drop a weapon? i never did understand that........

if you don't want it ("it" usually being the ripper) and don't like having to scroll through it to get to the ever-changing preferrable weapon (usually being shock rifle, which i have bound to "p"--wow, look at me talk about myself ... glee)

If u pick up a gun and fire a whole bunch of ammo to kill someone, and u can't find any more ammo, u just drop the gun, and pick up another from the same spot as the first. Get it?

Mine controls are very weird.

R=forward
F=backward
A=left strafe
E=right strafe
W=jump
D=crouch
4=ShockRifle
Q=Rocket Launcher
Regular mouse firing and aiming.

It's probalby because i'm a lefty

never noticed that. primarily I got it because of what my desk looks like. you haven't seen my desk, but I have
no room for a cord.

I got a brand new one in the box too!!
I found it at the K-mart disscount shelf...too cheap to pass up!!
But I like the forcefeedback option rather then just flopping around...this one's cool.

Mouse is a Microsoft Intelimouse Optical (direct input & mouse smoothing are essential otherwise if you move the mouse too quickly, the view doesn't move )

No need to stretch accross the keyboard

RM = Primary fire
LM = Secondary Fire
MWheel = scroll thru weapons
Ctrl = jump
shift = crouch
Left and right arrows for strafing
Up and down keys for forward and reverse
Delete = Shock
End= Flak
PageDown = Rockets
Number pad for various communication keybinds. I don't waste keybinds on taunts, they just get annoying.
