I just installed my new mouse and I want to map functions on to the two thumb buttons for playing UT but when I'm using the controles menu and I select something I want to use the thumb button for and click the thumb button to map it nothing happens, I can only map the left right, and middle buttons. Is it possible to map the other two buttons? Thanks for the help, Bull.

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. open your mouse properties and find the option "Buttons". Assign the large and small thumb buttons as a key command...ie...large button is the F12 key. Then in ut assign a command as normal...ie...fire=left mouse button. But, you'll see f12 instead of "large thumb button".

welllllll, the top button (well both buttons as a matter of fact) defaults to alt (or at least it did for me), so if you aren't using alt for something else you can just leave it as that. What did before my damn mouse started crashing my damn computer (RRRRRRR) was bind my bottom button to the backspace button so i could still use it for internet explorer (pretty cheesy i know, but i was getting used to it /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif) so yah, that is just my take on the whole intellimouse thing
(by the way, i LOVVVEEEEEE that mouse, it just killllllllls my computer, i hate it!! it makes me so mad!!!!! i just want to go kill people, but i can't use my mouse to kill people, then i want to kill people even more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *pant pant pant*)

this doesn't work for me because I use the two thumb buttons to go back on teh net and close windows, the third mouse button minimizes windows. I don't really care about those buttons anyway, I'm happy with my k-board setup
