I've been playing around SCCT files and notice something strange.
When you delete all *.u files from the retail game, the game still run.
From filemon.exe report, there are never accessed during the game.
There is a file outside the \system\ directory named SplinterCell3.utx
I noticed it is the among the only file accessed beside the huge
dynamic-pc.umd.
On the other hand *.u seem to be packed with a 'PZ' signature
inside the file.
I'm not familiar with the Unreal. I'm curious to know if
their any talented people who can figure it out.
When I patched from 1.00 to 1.02, i noticed in progress that
has patched some *.u files but why? it never use it anyway?
I'm trying to undertand how I can somehow decompress the
*.u files from SC:CT? Or what does SplinterCell3.utx really
contains, it looks like encrypted rather then compress?
