Hey lance, what kind of motorbikes ya talking about? Myself, I have a '98 Titan Gecko RM, and I gave my '98 Titan Sidewinder RM to my girlfriend for her birthday, seems to really enjoy it (least I could do for her, her getting me a whole bunch of stuff, and she said she had always wanted a motorcycle) Sure, they were a bit pricey, but worth every damn penny. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not again

Its quite decieving as I'm feeling the flesh made me bad

"guns" i've shot:
-super soaker 2000 to 4000 series
-riot watercannon
-fire hose
-garden hose
-water pistol
-toy pistols with them sucker things for bullets
-fire extinguisher
-rubber band on hand, pistol method

explosives i've handled:
-water baloon
-water filled plastic bag
-stink bombs (they really stink big time)
-snake cans
-water filled condom (I said water, dont get funny ideas)
/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
-firecrackers - the chinese small red ones
-fireworks - almost all chinese types

miscellanuous projectile weapons:
-rubber band
-pillows
/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
-light crossbow (with iron head bolts, and full steel "AP" arrows)
-serveral types of shortbows (mongolian to medieval chinese with deer arrows, leaf heads, and humming bulbs and those silly round heads used in Club Med)
-"repeater" crossbow (i have no idea how to translate this one from chinese as my mandarin is very bad. its a chinese weapon with multiple crossbow bolts loaded... think revolver, except it holds a heck of a lot of bolts. works like a bolt action rifle in that you need to pull the string back for the next bolt to come up)

I held a MP53 once, never did anything with it but take a picture - i was 9 i think

Hey Lance

I'll bet you'll like this site, Lance: you can obtain exactly what you're looking for. Damn...what's that URL....it's like "A something something Soft"...crap. I knew I should have bookmarked it. They sell exact replicas of real guns, only they shoot pellets, or BBs. I'll look for it again for you.

Fireworks and firecrackers are illegal in Ireland too, as are airguns of any description. It's reasonably easy to get a shotgun if you have land in a rural area but it has to be kept in a specialised safe bolted into a structural wall. .22 rifles are almost impossible to obtain.

Handguns and anything else are totally illegal. Only special divisions of the police are armed. BTW the Irish army use the Steyr AUG as well. No one mentioned us. They switched a few years ago from some type of FN. Not sure what it was.

AFAIK there have been no accidental discharges (at least none resulting in injuries). Don't get me wrong , I don't want it to be added to Inf, just thought y'all might be interested.

If anyone has pics of their guns why not post them here and make me jealous.

P.S. I don't want to start the whole gun control debate over again, but I kinda like living here. There's very little chance of being shot by some crazed lunatic on the streets. I'd be interested to hear about the gun laws in all of your countries. What is legal? What isn't?

Thanks everyone, this has been very interesting so far.

Well, here in the US there's not just one line of illegal vs legal, there's different restrictions on different classes of firearms, the whole 9 yards. For instance, technically fully-automatic weapons are legal- you do have to pay some extra fines and check your gun in every so often, but the average Joe who doesn't mind all the beurocratic red tape, full-auto is an option.

Oh, and I don't know what laws in Ireland specifically lowered the crime, but here in Arizona we've been made safer on the streets by a law, too- a concealed carry permit law, which gives the people more rights- now we can carry concealed firearms if we get a permit for it (before it was open carry only, so you'd probably get stopped by every cop you pass, etc, so alot of people that would have carried chose not to)... apparently criminals don't like getting shot at or something... whod'a thunk'it!

PS- In case you were wondering, only ONE crime has been committed by a LEGALLY obtained full-auto weapon in the US for the last 60 years, and it was committed by an off-duty police officer. Many many other crimes have been committed with full-auto's, but they were all illegally obtained. Apparently criminals do things that are illegal, too (like buy untracable, unrestricted guns for half the price of a legal, registered one)... another shocker!
