Gunner overpowered??? I don't think so...

Legend make a custom partical system for Unreal 2, that looks a lot better than the UT2k4 one, and also had a damage per partical setting that UT2k4 does not support. For most things FMI have done a nice job of keeping things the same, but anything that used the partical system has to be remade, and so will never be exactly the same.

Yeah, the incendiary grenades are quite overpowered, rifght now i can just shoot 6 of them off at an enemy, if he's still alive refil from ammo pack and repeat.

Did anyone notice the rocket launcher's reload time decrease (as in it takes less time to reload) a bit from U2XMP, or is that just me. Don't get me started on the Ranger's pistol ::glares:: I'm disappointed about that. Ok not going to hijax thread now.

mabye the other classes are the ones nerfed lol i am fine with that all i know is the sniper rifle with the distance limited is pure crap and so it makes the ranger crap for long range shooting . beside the pistol shooting slower all in all rangers took a major hit. i will wait for final.

Just thought I'd restate this for emphasis. Headshots play such a vital role that it's kinda moot to have balance discussions about the current state. If you balance it out with what we got now, then when we add headshots, it will be thrown out of whack again. Its absence benefits the gunners the most, since they generally get the least amount of headshots, especially when compared to the ranger.

The only complaint i have about the ranger is the cross hair. In the old XMP i could not hit sh*t the Ranger. Now i can. lol So, i love it. I know this is a newer version of XMP. I don't want everything to be the same. I think once everyone gets use to the speed you will dominate the way you did in the old XMP. A feel of the unknown scares some people in the beginning. But like I said, in do time you will be alright and dominating ;)
