Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. Didn't mean to say they were cheating. Just not wearing team colors. Makes it hard for me to shoot quick if I don't see blue (or red). I appreciate everything Wes did to run these games. Please don't think ill of me.

No Steppin, I don't think ill of you. I know exactly what you mean. Those grey skins were really f****d up and I don't blame anyone for sayin something about it. I just wish I would've done the right thing to change it, but didn't think about getting totally out of the game to change it. And as close as that last game was I definitely DID NOT want to get out and risk not being able to get back in. Sorry again for any confusion with that skin and will definitely get that problem fixed in the future. Cuz Wes is DA MAN and he KNOWS ALL!lol Really though I apologize again for the skin and will not have that problem again. Good games guys!

The biggest problem we have is to decide who got to play. Everytime we mention we have a match, we have like 30 people want to play and at least like 20 people show up even we only picked 10. How would you decide on who play what when then?
On the other hand, we always have to beg people from PuF to play DURING the game. Most of the people who replied and indicated interested never show up. Even we announced what maps we are running a week ahead, only like ONE person ever prepared with the maps.
A 5 games match dragged on for 4 hours. My wife was really not appreciated my time & efforts.

Just once in a while a bunch of you MyU guys can crash into #planetunreal and see what is going on. If a bunch of us are just sitting around smacking each other with imaginary trout, I'm sure we can get a small pickup game going

I think that when i get the most enjoyment and money's worth from buying UT is when I am playing a friendly game where results don't matter one whit. And while the same could be said of our match-up (especially with the joking in between games), I just didn't have any fun except for orbital. We got beat too fast (which, in part is our fault, but after the first two 5 minute victories, wouldn't it be better to either raise the limit or the win the match by time limit?) for one thing. The other thing is, especially in orbital, but in all maps, are started to take things too seriously...and the game isn't as much fun then. Orbital was fun only in that I actually knew the map well (and you see, I'm not the kind of player who 'practices' maps) AND the game play was fast and furious.
Apologies to PuF when I dropped in Orbital: My GF's little brother IM'ed me =P WHile he IS a punk, I shouldn't be as mad at him as I should, especially since he has a legitimate reason for msg-ing (ya see what I mean?)
So next time around I'll just be cheering for you guys! and doing a little dance in #planetunreal =)

"Wes 650" server is well known for running custom maps all the time and new maps are added every other week. We don't run stock maps at all. When we post on this board to invite people for a match, we posted what maps we would be running so that you can pre-download the maps and there would be no surprises. That's why the idea of just picking random maps won't work.
I don't think I will be hosting any matches any time soon. We're having a baby in a little more than a month. I'll be very busy.

Ah, correction. Our very first match with PuF was back in match. Osirus was the host. There was no planning on maps and both PuF and MyU pick maps while in the game. Take a look. Love the old threads:

I think Gunner had the right idea. I tried to be serious when we were getting ready for Horus to start. I was teamsaying "Ok PuFfers, who had defense" and stuff like that. Meanwhile, none of us knew the map, so the best bet was for us to jump in and have fun and not worry about positions and stuff. But I wasn't getting this, so I'm like "who is going to be where, guys?" Then Gunner starts spamming...
