By now I mostly play offline due to time restraints. Lately, I have been using the TWT Zombies on EAS maps, as it is quite fun to try to extract a CD while something is gnaving at your legs.
A couple a weeks ago I finally saw "Land of the Dead", something I recommend heartily to all of you, and it made me consider a new gametype. While far from realistic, it might be fun.
The map is set up with two bases and a number of random supplies, while zombies roam the place. The bases would probably be initial spawns from TDM or EAS.
Both teams then compete to bring most supplies to their own base. Game is over when a team is eliminated or chose to end the game by extracting from their base. Score is based on number of supplies and number of teammembers extracting (= being in base when the extraction is called).
Problems: TWT Zombies will swarm the base if anyone is there, making it very hard to extract. This might be amended either by coding them to avoid the bases or spawning HMG's at the bases. Basecamping would probably be hard due to the presense of said zombies, but this might be helped by use of sniper actors.
I have no idea how to code this, but the idea is up for grabs. I post it here since I cannot contribute any further.
