Btw I just noticed there is not only lincoln secret at atlantis 1 and acheron, but also on severnaya, if you zoom up to the coronas above building, you'll find rotating sprite there, if you shoot it, something strange will happen afterwards, I won't spoil it. :p

There are MANY other easter eggs in the game, dunno if you know about them, now I know like 15 of them or so(dunno exactly).
They are mopstly hard to find and few even involve cheating.

Plus there are other secrets, like the severnaya one or when you mantle over Acheron terraforming plant from the side where is the crane and the garage door, something will appear in the smoke and there is even healthpack, plus not to mention therea re little secrets which you can access by mantling at certain areas etc, yeah mantling is the way to go, also there are many secrets in hell as i mentioned the scret vent shaft, the face particle on the next map to that one, or the h4xors panel in Hell.

Hmm, I didn't read this thread before because I never really played U2. I started playing, and find all these things kinda interesting :) Never knew there was so much to find...

However I'm more interested in all the excluded stuff in U2 (and XMP). The spraypaint? The grapple? And all those gametypes? Imagine what U2 could've been if Legend was allowed to do all those things, and probably more. :(

Is there a list of "lost U2 stuff" somewhere? Has anyone tried to revive (...) them? And how far did it get? BTW, it sounds like Leo here can do UScript? What about GreatEmerald? You know when it comes to coding stuff I get all excited :D

Leo, nice, I'll use that in the Sanctuary article I'm writing for LA. Knew like 1/3 of that though, some are pretty obvious.
You should give some more detailed descriptions about all those secrets actually... Never heard of them. Although in NCVIIsomething, where you start, it looks like an empty map with just the door, but there's a secret cache just below the walkway. Found it when looking with the editor.

Ah yeah I forgot, the Drakk map has secret too, the one before boss.
There are hidden stairs leading to one tube with skaarj and some joke between these walls and also there are other things in that mission, including some panels.

As about UScript I can do uscript, but mainly for Unreal1, kinda comfused with uengine 2 things and I am noob at scripting for uengine2 although something i tried.

I did try to revive something and I have even the alpha sourceccodes and I gave some to greatemerald, but the problem is its incompatible with final u2, most of it as the engine changed pretty well. I tried converting one alpha map too, the old version of severnaya (also it has dead flyingsnake and these animals feeding on it on one of the islands), however with many deafult texturs as I forgot to convert these.
The grapple is still in u2 although in broken form a bit, it shoots a blue beam which you can grapple and ungrapple although its using is kinda difficult.

In this are few things that were not in final game and many people thought it was a pack of lies in the end but they made most what is decsribed actually, only it didn't survive to final version and atari was their owners and they closed them after anyway because they started not to following their orders anymore after release of u2 or something like that.

Wow, thanks for all the links and info. I'll look into some of these contents. However I was hoping there are some efforts to use the things that are left in the release (but not used in the game), in a mod or something.

BTW, this reminds me to edit the cXp section in the Liandri archieves :D I'm surprised the team never got to it.

Anyone noticed that when ending NaKoja, the planet you are leaving in cutscene is not nakoja? :lol:
It seems to be actually the Shian planet, look hot it looks, it's totally blue like and there are coming these water smokes out of it, so it's totally covered by water, that cutscene was not meant to be there also the music is one of the shian series one.
Glitch in the matrix again.

Cool, never noticed that! Have to add to the Trivia section once I get to writing a walkthrough of NaKoja. Already have some nice strategies.
