I thought "The Undiscovered Country" great and "The Voyage Home" fun. On the other hand, the reboot was unnecessary (a prequel in the same universe would have been fine) and went against a lot the series stands for - which I believe matters at least for genuine fans. (I... err, am.)

Just rewatched Star Trek. While the plot wasn't particularly great, I did like the characters and all the play between them. The whole plot with those aliens travelling in time was kind of lame though, and probably just an excuse to bring in Nimoy. If the new Star Wars episodes are like that, with a slightly stronger plot, I'll honestly be okay with it. Star Trek was way better than any of episodes 1-3 anyhow.
