The bottom line is, that UT:XMP doesnt offer more support or information than the dead U2:XMP project and since the last named has less gameplay bugs it is the one, which is played.
No the bottom line is this:
Neither game is really a viable game. The difference being this: U2:XMP will never be a viable game at this point, Atardi saw to that for us. UT:XMP is being working on, improved and will get there eventually. ALso the gameplay bugs are fixable in UT:XMP unlike U2:XMP.
Point being, UT:XMP, though it isn't all the way there yet, is really the hope for XMP long term. If a working master server, support against glaring exploits, a path to fix severe bugs in game and the ability to draw in more players constitutes the same support as U2:XMP, I wonder what you think constitutes more support...
