I have to say the best part of her so far is the chunk of armour on her wrists i think.

Criticism is always welcome. I wasn't really expecting much more for this
character/skin due to the fact it's really an after thought. But hey, what the
hell right, the more the merrier. Btw, the character has no hair showing
(she has a hood on) ;) . The face in the original image was really just a
place holder, and yes the leggs were as yet incomplete. Good eye you have
there. Here's basically the finished product.
I like your "Shadow Dragon" dude too.

I like your retro UT stylish skinning method real nice one. Cant' wait to frag her! :D

If I should keep up at your level I should kick myself in da butt and strap on my working pants and practice some more! Darn you must teach me your methods!?

But some things I would change. First off the image color mode. It looks like it's indexed colors. In UT2kx you don't need to have the colors indexed. Use DXT compression or RGB8 it gives loads more color enhancement.
The meask on her looks little weird with those eyes. But that's an opinions question.

You're correct (almost), the image displayed in my post is indeed indexed for
fast loading of the image. The actual texture/skin however, is not. (DXT3) I
must say even noticing that kind of thing requires an eye.

Haha!, I was wondering if someone would comment on her visor. I wanted something sci-fi yet old school. The metal visor felt old school enough that you might even find something like that from ancient times. Then I remembered these cheesey yet kinda cool sunglasses that were available in the early/mid 80's that featured similar eye holes. I guess I'm just amused that some one noticed at all. :lol:

I've finished the final texture and detail to her uniform and am pleased to
anounce that Mitsuko is offically complete. I have completed her standard
and team colors too. I figure I'll give Sad a few days to recover from his
vay-k, and send her to Skincity and all of you. I've no idea what to do next..

Bofrazz: DXT3 and 5 is with lower compression than DXT1 resulting in bigger files. Just so you know it. If you have an Alpha Channels for complete masking DXT1 can have an 8 bit alpha channel enough for black and white masking.
DXT3 is perfect for multiple shader opacity's.
DXT1 loses some quality of the image due to compression but it's rarely noticable but think of it when you make skins. ;)
It's just a little heads up for you to keep people with slower internet connections in your target area. People actually have 56K nowadays(not including me).
I learned this when putting out a very large skinpack.

EDIT:: I think I've seen such sunglasses a long time ago somewhere but can't say I really remeber those.
Sounds good that you only used indexed colors on the images can't wait to see the final outcome :D

Mitsuko is off to Skincity!

Hey all latest update from bofrazz here. Mitsuko is complete, packaged, and sent! So look for her soon at Skincity. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome of this skin save for one detail. The modle sports a really nasty seam down the backs of the calves, and the under side of the arms. Whilst I catered to this distortion on the legs, I just couldn't bring my self to skrew with it on the arms. I did so to keep the clean feel of her vambraces. One can hardly see them during combat any way. Ahh, compromise...
