Basically the site is no problem and too many sites become hard to look after.
If a domain wants to host me with adds if they think my site is an attraction for them then I have no problem with that.
Basically my biggest problem is my files and addons etc that I make.
As you know once we release a version of UT2Vote, that day and the next say 5 days following, 1000's of downloads take place, but then its all over and things trickle down to perhaps 2 a day.
Currently I'm doing a hell of a lot of coding and modding for JFDuke3d and JFSW and although these files are small, between 1 and 30 megs, there are many downloads and also like in one big rush then a trickle.
My current host (UnrealZA) here in SA seems to be going small or something as we used to have many gigabytes of data on the site which has now trickled down to about 100 megs of which 99% is my stuff nad I feel like guilty, like as if they are going just for me.
My other site at
www.totalconversions.com is great and although they also have a huge ftp area which I have free access to I can NEVER get onto it and no matter how many times the moderators explain to me how to upload I can never get onto it so that is currently on a website and although I have shut it down several times, EdgeNetWorks have asked me to please put it back up as it attracts people.
They even took the adds off the site etc.
I remember someone from FileFront writing to me about a year ago asking to host me but then I had everything here.
Oh and I dont have a domain, maybe I should get one but thats not important right now.
At the end of the day, if I could just find out how to use the FTP at Edgeworks (Totalconversions) then that would solve my problems as I basically just want somewhere to store some of the files.
