FHIv4.1,need help pls.

:( Been trying to find out how to get FHIv4.1 workin.Looked through entire forum and found no answers.Read over Read me multiple times and still cant get it working.If i create a FHIv4 folder then subfolders(maps,system,etc.)my batch file wont launch and no mod is listed on activate list. If i try to put all files in FHIv4 folder, it gives me the "CD key seems to be invalid""you need to reinstall the game"crap.I reinstall 3 times and still nothing,when it does not do CD key thing,it runs but nothing changes,same old ut2004 everything.Also Tried to install files in UT2004 its'self and still nothing......Can some1 pls help me or have answers?
(nothing wrong with my comp.Has over 1 gig memory and over 1k ram.

it is both a single and multiplayer mod.

I am not sure why it won't start, but just looks like you are missing a file. Have you ever been able to get this to work? You can always see the multi-player online mode on my server without installing FHI at 72.9.229.71. Just start ut2004 normally, and give it a few minutes to download all the files required.

huh,downloaded mod several times and have played v3 b4. Damn,guess i'll stick to v3 if i can find it again or wait if a new version comes out if FHI is still workin on it.

Nope, no new version is being worked on.

Could you take out some of the things being suppressed in the log file? go into the fhiv4 ini file and find the lines that start with Suppress and comment them out (don't delete). And then run it again and post the log.

I tried to change + to - and nothin,- to + still my batch file will not work.
Also i noticed that my FHIv4.log file only picks up the batch file starting till black screen goes away and nothing.log only picks up ne thing when i have all files in 1 folder

tried to put all files in 1 folder and change the paths and put back to default settings and keeps coming up with this UT2004 Build UT2004_Patch_[2004-07-27_14.28]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 2081 MHz with 1023MB RAM

strange..... it created the fhiv4.ini all of a sudden.....

do you have intro.ut2, introfix.ut2, and entry.ut2 in the fhiv4/maps directory?

also, look at the bat file that comes with the FHIv4. you may need to change it's properties so it is looking at

F:\ut2004\FHIv4

instead of

C:\ut2004\FHIv4

and FHIV4.bat should be like this

in properties it says batch file is located in F:\UT2004\FHIv4.
