Yah, he ICQd me later, told me they had a GREAT game on WhiteLion 3 Team, his team won 300-299 or something. My brother is [NASA]duo, in case anyone was wondering. 13 years old and he gets better EVERY day.

Thanks for the nice bumps, Zell! You know, I've been all over this great big world, to Rome and back, and my favorite pizza is still Papa John's Extra Large with extra cheese and Canadian BaconX2.

Slipp--great idea about contacting some admins. I think I'll get on that tomorrow, in fact. AA-Turbo (hope there are no hard feelings between you guys) MAY be setting up a rocking new server. And we may put one of ours on the market with good custom maps. I'll update any of those three points right here.

Switch--there is just tons to learn, and new stuff to develop every day. We're going to be working on some pretty complex stuff soon enough in {KS}, probably right after the BoilerHeadz put the big smackdown on us next week.

You all have the Bonus Pack, right?

Well, DM-Cybrosis][ can be copied and renamed DOM-Cybrosis][. Binary at ProvingGrounds just told me he will be adding that to the list of maps they accept for competition. It is part of the official UT package, if you consider the Bonus Pack to be official, so why not have it running on servers and used for competition?

you know just after I read this thread earlier today (1 or 2 hours ago?) I went to look at the DOM servers and found that <b>2 of them</b> were running that Cybrosis map. Today is the first time I've heard of it, and now I see 2 servers running it. Damn, I'll have to check that map out for it's DOM merits. It's an okay CTF map so......

BTW guys - I've seen quite a few DOM servers playing the November Sub Base(?) map, and was wondering where I could find this one? Or is there just some trick with CTF-November like Ent was saying with CTF-Cybrosis?

Hey guys, glad to see some interest sparking in this mod from the other clans out there. Hopefully the trend will continue! I agree with some of the postings, that playing on the public servers is a mixed bag; sometimes the matches are great, sometimes they're not so great. But team play in clan matches is a completely different story. So you CTF and DM clans, grab up a few of your best players and hit Gamespy 3-team Dom sometime. If you ever find yourself bored in a Dom game, let me know and I'll gather up a few of the AA, DRD, KS or BHS guys and send them in to, uhm, 'entertain' you..

Also, I'd like to clear up what seems to be a popular misconception. BH is not the top ranked team on Proving Grounds. They are the top ranked team on Clanbase in Dom, but have some work to do before they can challenge us for top spot (assuming we get by |C|ondemned next week)

Well you guys have earned respect in the public servers, without a doubt. We'll see about testing your mettle in the matches...

Something I've noticed in the past, say 4 months or so, is the growth in number of talented Domination clans. It's getting to the point now that you can't make a passing 'list' of the 'top' Dom clans without dissing somebody (I hope 'dissing' isn't a 'tean angst' word.. )
But I think this is a good thing, as it raises the level of competition overall, and even more so when CTF or DM clans start to take (albeit a passing) interest in it.

Good job 0shadow0... it's just a pity the stupid server shut down on us near the beginning of the match

By the popular PuF's, I'm assuming you are talking about me and Entropica <grin> Hehe - although I think he must be more popular because I think he will reach 100 posts a couple before me

Anyway - I guess I just play on the ones that give me the lowest ping. Hehe - though that is in an ideal world where everyone plays DOM. Actually I just play wherever there is players

Aaargh - and as for that clan-news server... keep well clear of it. It has a horrible low score limit, and even worse it uses the weaponstay=off thingamijig

hmm, I don't actually mind the WS off rule, but on a server like clan_news.com's where the player max is 20 ppl, you NEED WS ON! And I agree, the 100 pt limit makes for too quick a game.

Nice to see some interest in DOM though! Over 500+ viewers and 58 posts and it continues to stay on the front page Weeeeee, DOM rules! Err, wait, yeah DOM Rules!
