Description: Located deep within the core of the Hyraxis Transportation network are stations such as H-AXC003. These stations accelerate automated passenger trains up to supersonic speeds by means of electromagnetic induction, delivering human cargo to their destinations within minutes. This system was initiated by the Liandri corporation in order to prevent choking airways due to overload of civilian movement during the Tournament. H-AXC003, out of high demand for bloodsport, was converted into a tournament arena for violent battles to the death, not because of the high drops, but because of the dangers present in an active accelerating station.

Comments: Although it may not look like much to the average person, it's my 2nd real map on the PC, and this map is no joke. Hyraxis is a radical, different, deadly layout for a deathmatch map, originating from an original TimeSplitters: Future Perfect map called AuToMaTiKs 2, Hyraxis is going to make you think twice about jumping off that platform to the rail, or go after the amp, or run haplessly through a teleport, it will keep your twitch reflexes going though it may not look like much. The jump button will be used... it will be. Steel and iron are what make my little map go round!

Note: For PS3 users, I will have a release when it's able to be cooked.

So,we already talked on Xfire about your map and yesterday and today,I checked and play your map a little bit.Actually,I don't play often UT3,more UT2004,but it is always nice to see good maps with good gameplay and good quality.The gameplay of this map is simple,get in the map,pick up your guns and frag for your life,but the whole gameplay thing gets more interesting,coz several jump pads on your map.I always liked the idea to have several jump pads on a map,and on your map it makes a lot of fun.What's other good stuff...hmm,I like the idea of a train at the Big Keg and Berserker place,first tim when that thing hit me,I thought what the hell fragged me and then I realized that thing.The trap at the Stinger place is also sweet,I think when there are more people at this place and someone of them press this switch,oh yeah,then you gonns get some fresh meat.I don't know what's other people's impression of the light is,but I like the lightning,sure sometimes the map is kinda a little bit dark,but overall the map has a good lightning.There are also some nice things,like the nice effect at the AMP place or the blue hole,to get from one floor to other floor and some others.Just test the map by yourself guys and have a lot of fun there,it is worth to play the map.So far nice job buddy.:):tup:

With the new lighting, you can see now, I added an ambient light to the map that improves visibility greatly. Thanks to Kantham's advice, the map is now a little better.

This is the finalized version, knowing people will probably come out of the woodwork to find flaws, I expect to release another version eventually, depending on how many people respond.
