Demon's Souls-For All the PS3 Players Out There LOLOL

Demon's Souls got Gamespot's Game of the Year award, which is rather a surprise to me considering how much love Uncharted 2 has been getting.

Game Informer decided the creator of Demon's Souls deserved to be one of the Top Ten Villains of 2009.

Seems Demon's Souls is a love-it-or-hate-it game, although I think if you hate it you might be in the minority.

I am close to beating this behemoth of a game. I have two (out of sixteen) bosses left plus the final boss (supposedly a joke), and I can rest. And I also beat Old King Allant, the hardest boss in the game, on my second try (third technically if you count co-op). I didn't even summon any blue phantoms to kill him. It's been three days and I still feel like a badass.

Yep, it's my first playthrough. And yes, the jump from New Game to New Game+ makes the game about 3 times harder from what I hear I think I will put that off for later....

Dammit I just beat the game I deserve some rest!

5-2 was a lot easier than I expected (wearing Gloom Armor and Black Leather helps, along with lots of Royal Lotus). 5-3 was a joke when I cheesed it (bows are evil in this game). The final boss...what a pushover. Really?

Nevertheless, I feel like a badass for beating Demon's Souls. New Game + looks enticing, but I've got other games to play dammit!

The game isn't even a year old yet and it was just recently released in Europe, wonder what happen? I think they couldn't afford the server upkeep and decided to cut back.

Bumping for world tendency events.

For all you North Americans, Atlus is celebrating the 1 year anniversary of Demon's Souls by holding two World Tendency events this month. Until the 16th the game will be pure white world tendency (game is easier, special NPCs appear), and after that and until the 31st the game will be pure black world tendency (game is harder, special black phantoms appear, primeval demons).
