Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. up untill that lawsuit Micky dee`s coffee was way too hot!!
If you spilled it in your lap it would deffenatly blister and be very painful....
There plan was if it`s too hot to drink they would give less refills.
It was WAY TOO HOT!!!
now after the suit they turned it down to a level that is at least drinkable!! (but we still add some ice) :b

Oh, really? I heard you now get cold coffe in a cup with a warning that "the beverage you are about to enjoy is HOT"
And I expect any adult who's ordering a coffe to know it's hot beforehand. Just as I expect knifes to be sharp and a bullet through my head to be potentially fatal.
I wonder when someone will shoot someone else and then sue the firearms company... bound to happen, in a land like that.

Ya....but if someone hands you down (from the drive-up window) a scolding hot cup of coffee and the lids not on all the way and it tips over in your lap.....or the moron handing it to you dumps it on you!!!

if its too hot then thats your prob, your old enough to see if its too hot to drink or not, i dont think those there is a law on the temperature of cofee
Whats more, there are dumber things. We used to have a canteen that sold noodles. Now obviously the noodles were in boiling hot water right. They sold the noodles for ages (couple of years), never had a problem. Then one day we go up to purchase some noodles for lunch (as you do). This time however, this plastic lid gets put on the container, it is on tight as all hell, and there is a small hole in the top of the lid.
Guess what happens. Yes, thats right, picking up the noodles now causes the water to spew out the top, hence burning the person who attempts to pick it up.
The conversation that followed went a bit like this:
Ah, for the love of ah, what the hell is this lid business?
Oh, they are so that people dont get burnt
People were getting burnt?
No, but they thought that this would prevent it from happening
It just caused it

I remember this topic of scolding hot drinks appearing in the main NC forum, I believe someone mentioned that there is infact a law or whatever on how hot the coffee can be just after it's purchased
reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when Kramer spilled coffee on himself and sued the coffee shop
