Like, know how in HALO, you can choose an arm decal? That'd be a good alternative to having clantags in front of everyones names. Like if you look at the scoreboard, it'd show everyones' decals. Duno, just throwing the idea out there.

No chance. No way is a UT server up to allowing anyone and everyone to upload their own decals, sending it to all the other clients, and keeping it secure. Maybe for INF: Source, which already has a similar thing with the custom spraypaint logos (really useful feature , still with questionable security).

INF: Source, which already has...
Does it mean INF: Source is allready more than just a concept and planning stage?
Man, if yes, I have to post my lowready and stuff suggestion PDF fast, lol.
Or is it allready to late for suggestions (I mean massive suggestions)?

What yurch said. I meant it's already in CS:S, so it is possible for the next version of Inf.
Hey, having a spraycan as a loadout item could be good to be able to mark areas (which have a meaning for your mates).

Many HL mods have the spray thing, INF:Source could make it as real as it gets :D.

Look, you select it, it is held low. You push the right mouse key and it is kinda aimed, you push fire and it sprays. The freeaim is huge so you can really write stuff. You can shaking the can with the mouse (fast up and down mouse movement).

lol, could be useful.

They have that in the current version of INF, its called RED SMOKERS or SIGNAL FLARE, used to identify on the ground or from the air a target/LZ or marker, spray painting something is retarded, not to mention questionable in the sense of carrying something that rattles in your pack and takes up quite a bit of useless space as well, and the fact that it wouldnt easily be seen in a real world environment unless obviously huge. I dont know about you7, but im not wasting precious minutes being exposed to possible enemy fire while standing in an open area to paint a big flourescent orange "LAND HERE" for a chopper :/

@Bushwack:
Spray painting for chopper landing, muahaha. Thats definitely not what I meant.
I meant to have some kind of military spraying thing (no rattle, small size), for painting on walls.
I know it sounds stupid, but it is just an idea, but for some kind of special forces missions, also regular army thing, in a destroyed village. A soldier can mark a wall of a building to signalize to mates that this area was cleared, or something (flare works limitted time and is to visible).

Or to mark areas so you know a path if it is a complex jungle map where buildings and trees look all the same.

Maybe you can signalize to a sniper, that he has to search for a red cross on a wall of a house to cover this building, when a recon, saw enemies there. Cuz it's to unprecise to explain which building, when they are many.

Not a big thing, was just a thought.

Why would you shoot a 40mm smoke at someone to mark where they are when you could shoot a 40mm HE and skip the middle man?

I really hope there isn't an "ammo limit" in the Source version.
That 'ammo limit' is inf defined. I got around it with some difficulty in new40mm, the m16 had 5.56, smoke and HE, which was three out of the four already.
