I actually found the sound a bit irritating even if the song writing wasn't too bad. Also the tone of the music and the vocals seemed as if they didn't mix very well. I'd rate this at mediocre demo quality, even if their songwriting has some promise for the future.
Myself, I've been going back and listening to albums I haven't heard in a while now. Currently it's the first Slayer Album.

I'm still amazed how many good songs that this show generated. It's just too bad the reboot series went blandly generic in the 'new style' and completely lost what made the original so great.
