When I think of the term Mystical Occult Metal...I always think back to this album by Absu. I'm also always keeping an eye out for other songs and bands worth hearing that I don't already know about. Like this one from Witchhaven...

That was almost weird. It starts out reminding me of Swordmaster and then there is that almost Buckethead-ish solo whirl near the middle although most of the music is on the non-extreme end of (symphonic/Melodic) black metal. (Reminds me a bit of 'Night Conquers Day' a bit.) I'm going to give it a thumbs up for being pretty good for a first listen and interesting enough to give a second.
Oh, and the Swordmaster it reminds me of...is this track for some reason.
