Conversion frenzy!

Recently i got really fed up with playing always the same small maps on jgkdo (namely Beach and flight127) while waiting for people to join. So i came up with this : DM-INF-CanyonCondo. It's a conversion of a SF map, a very fun 2-to-6 players cqb map. It can work as a tdm or a small dtas map (note: i made it so that teams will mostly spawn in houses). Hope you like it.

As always, please report any weirdness or problem here. The one thing i especially need feedback on is lag : this map features quite a few movers, and *may* cause lag on some servers. Since it's intended to be played with no more than 8 players i don't think it'll be a problem though, but we never know. If so i will try to cut down the number of movers.

I remember it well, it was funny to kill 4 or 5 bots with a nade. XDDD

It can be a nice map for foxhunt, yeah. In Dtas i am seeing me shouting: "stay in goddamn range and defend, or they will cap!!". :p

The grass texture and most of the other textures too look very articial too me, i file like playing in a sandbox, not like a soldier whos dirty business is to kill people.

Also the outside is pretty clean, there are nearly no plants.

I could change the grass texture and add a few plants here and there, although it's not necessarily justified since it's supposed to be a wealthy condo, where you would expect to find a neat garden and not a wild forest. As for the "artificial" textures :confused: , i'm not sure i can do anything.

edit : again, what i really would like to know is how the map behaves lag-wise. Not that i wanna pressure anybody, but if no admin is interested in putting on a rotation i'll release it as is.

New version available

-Changed the grass textures
-Changed the navigation network so that team will spawn 90% of the time indoors
-Added a few plants because cleeus likes them oh so much

This version should be final if no bugs are found. I decided to leave movers as they were because after playing it online i saw that it didn't lag with 6 people on it, which is the recomended player count.

I guess there's no need to betatest such a small map any longer. It should be final this weekend, so any bug report or ideas to polish up the map a bit should be posted now or never.
