Connection rejected, "de" version mismatch...

50% of the time when trying to join servers, I get this error saying that my "de" doesnt match the one on the server. What the hell does that mean? And anyone know how to fix it?

Oh that's cos I hacked into your system and messed up the fibulator that in turn prevbents the dibutilator from completing 10 cycles under one second causeing the ....

In your UT/system folder there's a file called de.u
Rename it to De.1
This will prevent the mismatches as the server will send you the de.u file you need from henceforth.
It's an error caused by bonus pack 2 which was released with two version of this file causing the mismatch.

Hey thx man, it worked. I looked all over in FAQ's and couldnt find the answer. Finally can play on the CTF server I get a 15ping to

I, once in a while, get "credits" version mismatch. Any idea how to fix that?

well there's a music file called credits.umx in the music folder. Maybe some map you dled screwed that up. Bust out your UT CD1 go in the music directory and find credit.umx Copy it from the CD into your UT/Music folder.
No guarantees tho as I've never seen this one b4.
