Muse - Black Holes and Revelations will not insert into a JBL stereo in a 2012 Toyota Avalon, WTF, really? Anyone have the same issue with this particular one or another commercial CD? I had to burn a copy to just get it to insert in order to play it.

Try to insert it into Confused Travolta instead.

LOL...just wondering if anyone had the same problem with any store-bought CD. Must have something to do with the very edge of it I'm guessing.

Some CDs have a data section as well, so they're made using a mixed-mode system. Some CD players don't like that, and get confused whether they should use the audio bit or look on the data bit for MP3s, so they just spit it out instead. If you ripped it and just burnt it as an audio CD, that will probably be the reason. If you just did a straight clone, /shrug.

Made an exact copy (duplicate) on a CD-R and it works fine now. The commercial CD seemed to spit out as soon as the edge crossed the threshold, so not sure what that means, except that it seems like the player did not like something along the edge.
