Come on admins, have some common sense

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

INF can never be 100% realistic. Not with the unreal engine anyway. I think what INF is all about is combining realism with fun. Yeah, I should go play SF and TO blah blah blah. See, the thing is, on public servers, nobody knows what anybody is doing. I may "hang" with a few people, but there's always somebody running off doing their own thing. That's the guy who I shoot, or end up getting shot by. I think near camos should be reserved for clan matches. Those guys seem to know what everybody is doing, and seem to have some sort of game plan. But it's not that big of a deal. I only have camo problems on a few maps. Most of the camos are different enough to prevent any problems.

I have also played Black vs Black_Tan, interessting.

I guess we have to change, most people are used to play games where one side have Blue and the other Red, normal UT, and then when the Camos get too close they dont like it.

Looks like a lot of people dont wanna die, they rather live and get a Skull instead of looking a little extra. :(

One major aspect of camos is usually neglected.

What I hate most is servers set up, so they use a camo for Team A on one map and for team B on the next. It happened to me only a few times before, but it was not so nice.

As for the INForcers Euroserver. We run Woodland vs. RussianGreen on most maps and allways Woodland for red and RussianGreen for blue. Makes you remember your teammates from map to map. On arctic maps we use Arctic vs. Urban instead.

It's a little like having the two teams represent two armies. Allways the same camos, different only on special maps.

This proved over time to cause very little TKs for people playing for more than a few rounds. You're getting used to identifying your teammates...

Russian Green... camo... are you joking? it never blends in anywhere, on my list of camo choices it would be right at the bottom of the ladder just above urban and desert.

I couldn't disagree more with the original poster. In fact, one of my pet peeves is playing with or against an inappropriately clad team. There is little that will inspire me to a quicker departure than teleporting into Dockside wearing Arctic camos - especially when the opposing team is invisible in their black pajamas.

So please, all you admins, have a heart and give us camos that actually camouflage!

PlanetInfiltration has the Black vs Black_Tan camos. At first I hated it, it was way too easy to make a mistake. Now however, I've got used to it, and I don't want it to change. Basically, if your careful and identify your target properly, you won't make a mistake. From that first time I played, I haven't accidentally tk'ed since.

It's not the camos at fault, it's your carelessness
