Coders wanted!
Hi, I’m a member of a new ut2003/4 mod group that has just started; we are looking for more members, expressly coders! The mod is called “UT – OFF – WORLD”, is set in the future over several different ages both single and Multi player. The mod dictates the story of the few remaining humans who escaped earth after an alien invasion. They luckily find a habitable planet and start to colonise it. As the game continues they are attacked by waves of various aliens that try to whip them out. Finally they manage to return to earth and try to retake it!
Basically the mod needs A LOT of work, it is possible that we may need 50+ weapons, incusing human, alien and melee (such as pipes and scrap mettle). A ton of single and multiplayer maps. A evolution tree system (allowing levels perhaps). The ability to save multiplayer games and bring single player char into multi to create muti level teams etc.
This is not easy to do, but I hope some of you enjoy challenges and hopefully making this mod one of the best around!
