Semtex has a slightly larger blast radius of a frag nade, can stick to people and takes less time to detonate then an uncooked frag nade.

Frag nades however have the ability to be cooked, travel much further due to longer det time and can roll which is sometimes useful.

However C4 is better then them all because it's just so much funnier. Although you lose a ton of range it doesn't show an icon on the hud like a nade will and can be detonated whenever you wish, but can be blown up or rendered temporarily useless from flash/stuns (which is stupid).

I'm starting to use Semtex more, frags are nice for the very beginning of the game where you can prenade but they take too long to explode for my taste in the heat of battle. C4 is still useless to me D:

Players being dropped from a party could be a result of conflicting network settings -- if users have Moderate or Strict NAT settings -- it could result them to be unable to connect with the host of the lobby / game you joined into. The team is always looking at ways to improve party stability.

I think IWnet is the best solution for the majority of our audience. I can also see the benefits of adding official dedicated servers as an option as well. However, my personal opinion has little to do with the decision to include them or not.

It was great. I had a strict NAT so I was never able to be host, but I don't mind that. Played quite a few games. Once I got back in the flow of using a mouse and keyboard I was doing great. Had a few times when the host quit and it migrated host, no problems there. Other than that no problems matchmaking or any other issues.

That last answer is especially awesome. What a ballsack.

Agreed, plasma grenades are the best option.

had an issue yesterday with players dropping from loby in mass numbers and yes i even had the "Steam connection failed" message a few times also
