The Child Pornography exploit?
The Care Package "exploit" isn't really an exploit for some people, but if you ask the mass, they'll just tell you it's gay and who ever use it should die in a car crash. I believe IW made it intentional? I wouldn't be surprised. Anyway, carepackage-aside, the dual G18 will make them complain. The tubes will make them complain. And so on, there's no end to it. Pretty much everything akimbo.

No, no they did not. Infinity Ward lacks the creativity to implement something so wierd. It's just that they're a bunch of lazy bastards who never, EVER bother to fix balance issues. So they pretend like it was intentional.

I read somewhere it's not an issue with the code so they won't fix it in a patch or some bs like that. It's a variable that a server admin could edit to fix on a dedicated server with a console :(

But some bs along those lines that i read on the IW forums, which tbh could be more lies because it's just a troll fest atm.

I've used it a few times, although it can be fun not all the time, i prefer to shoot people. Besides it's annoying, when they come from behind, especially if you're using lightweight/marathon on a smg class. Annoying just like tubenubes, and akimbo noobs :p Last stand noobs don't bother me as much anymore, it's still pathetically annoying if they get the kill tho, generally they do no damage, but as soon as they hit last stand i die :/

Maybe since it uses VAC... but I'm sure all the same hacks are possible on the PC.

The amount of 360 Glitches/hacks are appauling. Im actually sure there is less on the PC for once.

Yeah. I'm not sure exactly why but I don't recall hearing about the Infinite ammo glitch on PC whatsoever. What we get are non-vac detectable texture hacks (makes every 2D textures like foliage, smoke, ETC invisible and players red) and of course aimbots. Do they have those on the console version?

Aimbots are built into the console versions. Otherwise no one would be able to shoot anyone else. I started playing MW2 on my PS3 recently and if your crosshair from the hip is near an enemy, when you sight up it will be pointing at his head. You cycle between nearby targets by letting up and the re-sighting as you will then be pointed at the next guy's head.

Also, those 360 glitches, at least the infinite ammo one, came from modded 360s that had hacked binaries uploaded to them. The modified values would then propagate via hosts because the game saved settings between games.

In other news, MW2's campaign, which I beat last night, is ridiculous. Ridiculously awesome. There's a point in games and movies where it becomes obvious that the developers were trying too hard. Well, IW reached that point and then purposefully went ten miles beyond it, so it wraps back around to being awesome. It's completely ludicrous... but I like it.

Haven't tried multiplayer yet. I'm sure that will be fun. I'll probably go from 5:1 ratios in PC CoD4 to 1:5 in PS3 MW2. D:

I REALLY doubt that. If it's anything like XBox 360 cod mw2 then if you can get the hang of the controlls just a tad, online should be a piece of cake. It took me a week to a week and a half learning controlls for cod4 and i was getting scores like 16-0, 50-12, etc. The better you get, the more you wanna put your sensativity 1 notch higher.

Na

aimbots are built into the SP part of the game only.

It still helps with auto-aim online, but only a little bit (ala Halo), and not nearly as aggressively as in the SP campaign.

Speaking of which, I just stumbled on the biggest failure ever. I'm not sure if he had it on from game start, but once he saw me use the chopper gunner, he started yelling out loud "NICE HACKS" with his nuke emblem. Obviously went catastrophically jealous about my ratio and so then he started botting yelling "owned" whenever I passed by.

Does VAC keep an history of the modifications that you made? For instance, if he'd be only turning them on/off when the bot version is not recognized by VAC, and as soon as it is, completely drop them, would that keep him VAC-Clean?

He'd be VAC clean if he drops recognised versions when detected. Also, if his hack isn't being shared with many other people, it's also unlikely it'll be prevented, since they're usually client-side, so it's hard to know what to look for in order to ban in the first place.

So in other words he can use them all he wants right now until VAC drops the hammer on the said version of his hacks, and if he'd be dropping them right now or tomorrow, he could highly be safe. :hmm: In other words, commit crime when there's no witness.

I hope the failure keeps using them whenever he feels. Same for all the idiots of his genre.

Generally the cracker communities will work it out when one of them gets the ban - they'll alert the rest as so they can drop it, until a new version can be worked out that'll be under the radar. Hell, some of them even automatically shut down when one person gets banned, and auto-update when the new version is ready - it's essentially a paid service.

Something I learned last night from some dudes.. you can still have the Model 1887 on full effect. If you get Bling Pro - Akimbo & FMJ. I noticed FMJ also increase range on pretty much everything, so I assume it must be a blast for shotguns of any kind. My PP2200's were all suddenly more efficient using FMJ.
