Really? That's it; no dedicated servers, bye? You can't be serious there? Are you even in the slightest bit taking gaming seriously or you're another one of these dumbass consumers fanbois who'd go by 2 Kills 50 Deaths on pubs? Less cheating than MW1? Did you constantly play on NON-PB servers with no active server admins?
Oh man.... I love "you must be"s
You must be one of those american hate'n liberals
You must be one of those goose step'n conservatives!
You must be one of those people who don't agree with me... Baawwww!!!

I love this game it's so great IW is doing a good job, heck, why bother comparing what we had in the past! Let's just incline to their decision and let it be!! And I can't wait to play their next World of Duty for only 20 bucks a month!
Are you for real man?
You are totally psycho about this 60 buck game?
There are better causes... or hell women... to take up.

I can understand discussing or even arguing, but your a little over the top in every post about this

No, I'm french Canadian, and don't stand with a wrong foot against the United States.
Don't think so? In fact I don't know what that is.
Yes.

You are totally psycho about this 60 buck game?

I'd suppose I try to like it but as it goes on I can't do anything but hate it more. :hmm:
Especially with IW's lack of support on it, and how much profit they can make out of such unpolished product.

There are better causes... or hell women... to take up.

That's correct, if there's something I'd know more about, it's certainly having a moment with womans. I don't know a ****ing cent about politics on the other hand.

I can understand discussing or even arguing, but your a little over the top in every post about this.

Actually only when I argue with your opinion, which just simply is what would kill the PC gaming if everyone would act like you do. I don't have anything personal against you, I'm just trying to make you realize how wrong your post is.

11 million say that PC games aren't going anywhere.

To be fair just because one PC game or game type does good doesn't mean PC games are still doing good. Even if that game does good what will the other game types besides RPGs do. If someone only really likes FPS games and there are no good FPS games on the PC anymore PC gaming is dead to them.

To be fair, if someone claims that there are no good FPS games on the PC anymore, they're absolutely crazy.

Heck, for me there are hardly ANY good pc games anymore. Maybe one or two every once in a while, but before MW2 (which I wouldn't exactly call good) the last game I enjoyed was probably Portal. Wait, nevermind, it was Mirror's Edge. See, I can't even freakin remember.

MW2 is simply a shinning example of how sequels can go wrong, and if every developers would do the same, it would simply make gaming as we know it, a large pile of ****. Especially PC gaming. I really believe we need to see more non-sequel products in the market, it's like begging for it.

Take IW. They'll let you buy their product, then eventually, release a patch. Or 2. That's it. I wouldn't even count on them to fix the 1887. I still can't believe they haven't fixed it YET, and I'm dead serious when I say that it's the number one reason as to why I stopped playing.. I don't want to get involved in this inevitable akimbo-sniper-dildo-shotgun-from-outerspace-cowboy-tournament-wars. It's amazing how the 1887 ruins up everything that is based on close range combat, heck, even ****ing mid range combat!

Vacation much?

Yeah, stupid Dragon Age, Borderlands, Mass Effect (okay that comes out in a month), ArmA, L4D, Torchlight, Red Faction, Machinarium, Batman, Resident Evil, Trine and etc. They are all terrible. Terrible, I tell you. Not to mention the forthcoming BF: BC2 or games that came out earlier in the year such as Empire: Total War, DoW II, or Sims 3 (if you're into that sort of thing).

Maybe you just have a terrible memory? ;)

Saying that PC GamING (note the plural) is doing well because of one stupid game is the same as saying the whole car industry is doing well because only the 2003 honda civic is selling.

It just doesn't work.

I hate that argument that WoW can by itself somehow make PC gaming successful.

I'm not saying there are not any other good games or that I dislike PC gaming. I just don't like the WoW argument.

11 million say that PC games aren't going anywhere.

Like the previous poster said this is only one game. Also this argument cannot be justified.

How many of those 11 million are still playing?
How many of those 11 million play on a regular basis?

Fact is pc gaming isn't dying, but it doesn't have the legs it used to. You don't see very many million sellers today as you did 5 or even 10 years ago. And if Valve would stop being so SMUG about steam sales and release to the public maybe it will shed a little light on how well the pc industry is doing.

as for the WOW bit, they have over 11 million subscribers, not # of copies sold. So every single month 11.5 million people pay for the game. I'd say that's a pretty significant thing.

^ Grobut's got the right idea. I'd reckon most people wouldn't know what made a good or bad game, so they just think one where all of the guns shoot super fast and don't have any recoil is great.

I'd be surprised if it doesn't take back the #1 spot at some point in the future...
That's just Steam users. Xfire tells a different story -- one where both CoD4, CoD2, and MW2 are higher in the list than CS.
