The new version does have 512mb of storage. It's what the OS and all that ****e is installed on. You can't save anything to it though.

I don't think you can install patches to memory units, either. It can store game saves and arcade games though.

I also have an Arcade, but I have a 120Gb HDD strapped to it (when the Elite came out, it was retardedly about 30% more expensive than an Arcade and Hard Disk...)

Oh and RPG's in Sridow (or W/E it's called) is hillarious. Especially where the "camping" stairs are. I mostly get double/triple kills from getting a trip on there. Got to say they didn't complain much when it happened, and probably took it the "I as camping so I had it coming!" way.

Because not all 360s have a hard drive. No hard drive, nowhere to install a patch. Large percentage of players without a patch means that they couldn't play with patched players.

Pretty sure you need a hard drive to play Xbox Live, can someone confirm?

Yeah, wtf? Zer0 and I got on that map last night and I was seriously confused. He went like 29 and 3 or something ridiculous. I was like 14 and 4 or something. We just camped the tower in the middle mostly. I was using my action hero build and climing to the top, throwing knives at people, and taking Leaps of Faith off the roof and shotgun bombing people with my Model 1887 kill sticks. It was actually pretty fun. Shipment was much spammier, in my opinion.

Confirmed. There are updates required to use Live, those updates require storage.

Some extra info:

It passes from host to host. So if the original guy who has a modded 360 gets host (let’s call him host zero) he can enable the infinite ammo cheat.
Then, host zero leaves. MW2 starts for a new host, and the information of host zero is passed on to the new host, “infecting” his cache.
As long as the new, infected host stays in the same lobby, it will keep spreading to new hosts.

To get rid of the mod, you’ll have to disconnect from Live and reboot your 360

Interesting detail: According to Xboxic, you actually may get banned from Xbox Live for using this unlimited ammo mod. Possibly it may be for only 24 hours but if you repeat the action again and get caught, the ban could be made permanent. LoL like you can help it you got infected by this ‘virus’.

Lol I did do that quite often, I had a rpg/tube class set up. Whenever I got frustrated with the game or something that class always cheered me up. Like I said, that's what we were doing that one day when we all were using the same name like "spartan" for the shields and "a series of tubes" for the explosives class. We completely dominated a round on estate with tubes and rpgs and had a couple people rage quit and whining on mic, it was funny.

Anyways, too late now, I don't plan to reinstall. I already got everything I possibly could out of the game.



Also, completely offtopic, but I tried installing BF2 with the PR mod to see what was new and use that for my gaming needs but BF2 completely ****s up my Win7x64 install. FF stop responding all the time and explorer stops responding whenever I try to run .exe files. Wtf is up with that? Now I'll have to find another game for my gaming needs, maybe I'll reinstall CoD4.
