Ubber's pissing me off. Intentional ignorance tends to do that to me. Maybe that's why I don't approve of christianity.

No Punk....war is not murder as defined by the Bible..but since you do not read or understand the Bible you havent a clue.
And "a christian nazi" is an oxy moron...moron.
Im very sympathetic to the jews and always have been. I used to never understand why they were hated and chastised throughout history in as much as they have. But they ARE God's chosen people through covenant...and thats one reason why they are hated..just because of who they are as a race. The reason they have suffered much throughout history is explained in the Bible but since you do not understand or study it..you have your foot stuck in your big mouth again...its becoming a habit with you..hehe. In other words...your not representing the anti-christian foundation in this forum very well...better let somebody else try..this is gettin amusing..especially for one who has read it forwards and backwards.

Ubber, you are likely well aware that the original biblical text was not King James English. But, the translators that King James used, rendered the Hebrew word in that spot as kill, when it should have been murder. I happen to have an interlinear bible (which you made me go and dig out of my dresser) which displays the original text and the literal translation. Each Hebrew word has a number that can be looked up in a lexicon. There are different words for kill and murder, and the king James translation is inaccurate in this one spot as well as many others. You can always go and prove this to yourself, if you want to.
Maybe you don't understand the difference between murder and kill. They are not exact synonyms, because murder always has an evil motive, whereas killing does not. That is why God can command man to kill man and remain blameless: God is not envious nor covetous of anything that man has, so He has no evil motive that would render any killing act into a murderous one. And, the executioners do not hold anything against the condemned, they are just doing what they are commanded, so they are not murderers.
Hitler and his Nazis were murderers because they had personal motives that were gratified by the murder and plundering of the Jews. The people who START any war, are the murderers, the defenders are just killers.

Here..here HFD!
Well said..well said indeed.
And Ubber...I have no grudge against you...anger is momemtary with me...I refuse to let it get to me for more than a short bit.
So even though we disagree and have had some words.....it aint no big deal.

Have you ever seen war and death? I have.
And it makes you vomit. Its horrible.

Nevertheless....when nations and races have become apostate to God's word He has totally wiped them out....and so it is with the Jews...in 70 AD they came under the 5th cycle of discipline and were wiped out...by the Romans....and they did not form again as an organized nation until 1953
So it is with the United States....a nation formed "under God".....but under God we are hardly anymore. It wouldnt surprise me to see this country go down.
Later...

oh i thought we were using the king james version for this disscusion, today i went out and looked at the hebrew translation. its very interesting. the virgin mary wasnt really a virgin? it was a mistake made by accident or on purpose? the word Almah is translated to the word virgin yet almah means young woman, in hebrew bethulah means virgin... well im going to have to look more into it, it looks very interesting.

have you seen the movie "pie" i cant figure how to do it on my comp, but the numeric value 3.14.........

ofuy i dont really have anything against you...i just dont like being preached to.

Ubber..Im not preaching to anybody..Im not qualified nor is it my calling. If it sounds like preaching its not meant that way. This started out at as a discussion with pros and cons...not a sermon. People have questionas and issues..I just try and put them in Biblical perspective. Obviously if one does not believe in God or the Bible then all the Bible scripture in the world isnt going to mean anything to them.

But yet, perhaps it does or they would not get so defensive about it when its being discussed.
If one does not really believe God then this type of thread info is silly and harmless and only nuts/Jesus freaks could get anything out of it...right?
Somebody here said a few days ago they believed in Buddism. ok. If they wanted to post about it I wouldnt jump in the thread and tell how wrong I thought they were or anything. I would just ignore the thread because I dont believe in Buddism. Simple. Why? Because Im already secure in what I believe.
Anyway..glad there are no hard feelings.
