personally , i think epic were trying to up the cheese factor to a million with the name 'blazing power heroes' , i pissed myself laughing when i saw that name, i'd say it was there to emphasise the fun factor in ut2007

ah well if the game is great the name won't bother me much!
as for characters, i felt generally ripped off when malcolm was the boss fot 2k3, gorge would have made more sense since even though there are no reall moral characters or heroes in ut, you tend to see malcolm as more of a hero than the skaarj,juggs and robots, i reckon a nightmare creature would have made a better boss, perhaps even the emperor himself/herself what ever that is/ something demonic and other worldly

Malcolm is the boss for UT2k4 too. I catch myself thinking why shouldn't a Gen Mo'Kai or a Skaarj be a boss?

Blazing Power Heros is hilarious, i hope there's more stuff like that.
Remember that Malcom was, by default, the most used model in UT and people thought that was the favourite then, and should still be. So it's a bit shallow but they've used that character as the main man since.

no problem with him as the main man, have problem when they used him as the boss in 2k3 when a nighmare creature would have made for sense!
afterall the boss is meant to be Evil, like Xan says all that evil sh#t to you in UT,

Not really, this is a tournament, not some religious charge.
Xan was chief 'cos he was a good idea, malcom was chief after it as a solid and strong moralistic murderer, sportsman for the people y'know. Gorge was gay and used date-rape drugs to win.. Jakob.. well let's see when 2k7's out. Xaero was freed when you beat him, he wasn't evil, just doing the bidding of the masters.

A nemesis is always good, but I think that it would not fit in very well. Maybe we should imagine that... err... Xan shoots with an eeevil grin?

Truth be told, "Blazing Power Heroes" reminded me a lot of SNK's fighting games (King of Fighters, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury/Garou: MOTW, etc) in their terrible names.
