And the lower level bots have less health too. Or less endurance.Indeed.
The bots at lower levels do less damage than yours would, so maybe that's why he thought they did more at higher levels due to their stupid aim.

Their weapons don't do more damage. The only thing they really cheat at is movement and of course aiming.
start a new campaign on the lowest difficulty. then you'll see.

Indeed. Those tatics do not apply to me for I don't play bots to begin with, good nonetheless.
Indeed.
That's why a lot of people I've seen who only play bots thinking they are really good at the game go online and get pissed off because their bot trained tactics aren't working.
It works the other way round, too. You can't pull off tricks like jump-over-the-enemy-to-get-out-of-sight on bots, they will just gib you with their Flak Cannon.
I watched someone duel a bot (Mr.Crow) on DM-Roughinery. While that player probably would beat me easily enough, the bot nevertheless got a killing spree.
I know exactly what you mean. Strategies that would work with normal players don't work with the bots. Porbably the biggest thing that really makes me most angry about them is that they have INSTANT reflexes. I can't ever surprise a bot for example.
I definitely think that a lot more work should go into making the bots play more like humans. It wouldn't be that hard.
Godlike bots are easy in certain situations. Your chances are best when they are further away and shooting rockets at you, while you're pegging them with lightning gun/shock rifle shots. You can even make the bots miss with rockets by deliberately strafing in one direction, knowing the bot will lead you, so switch directions when you see the rocket.
Your chances are bad whenever you are close to them (at any circumstances), or they are using minigun, or shock/lightning gun. Or you're trying to fight them with rockets or flak.
Your chances are at their absolute worst when the ENTIRE enemy team is targetting you in an wide area map (DM-KillbillyFarm, all ONS maps, etc).
Basically, physically stay away from the bot (more room to avoid spam, less chance to insta die vs it's flak cannon), avoid large areas where multiple bots will target you, and only use hitscan vs them. Then they are easy.
