can i do this with ut2vote?

hello all :
i have just downloaded yt2vote to put in in my server( 213.149.245.66:8888 ) a publuc server
i have a problem, i wnt to create 3 asault game modes of votation, but with the webadmin tool i cant, i want to create a mode for normal assault( 20 minuts, junyarsd, robotfacotry, etc) other one for racong assault(hellebnder race anda this type of maps, 40 minutos) anda a third one for trials assault( puzzlebox, temple, megatrials, etc up to one hour...) can i do this with ut2vote or som,e similr? if i cant, how can i do this?
pd: anywy i will puto ut2vote in the server

Absolutely, you can do this.

To setup this server, use gamemake to create custom votable gametypes for the hellbender racing and trials. This way, normal assault and the the two custom gametypes can have their own maplists which you can set to contain just the AS maps you want for that type of game.

Not everything.. you still need GameMake. Get that here: http://www.proasm.com/ut/ut2vote.html

Gamemake has some good help in the program to guide you through making custom gametypes. You will need to create one for the racing and one for the trials. Once that is done, add them to your server and edit your ut2vote.ini to include the new gameconfig= lines. Be sure to edit the lines to specify UseMapList=True so they will be limited to the maps you want them to see.

Via webadmin or manual edit of your server's ini, add whatever maps are appropriate for the gametype to that gametype's default maplist. Repeat this for each of the three assault variants.

only probleme with new gametypes is, that epic's stats-site doesn't recognise them. If you need stats, you may run your own stats-server...

im gonna do this, i have created with gamemake two modes trialAsault anda RacingAsault (i have write that in the first section of game make, then i select asault as parent game mode and then y creted it and generate de u file, a new folder has apeared in the ut server folder called tiral asault with a subfolder classes and the same as racing asault, also the ini, ucl u files of each game mode are in the system folder. everything is ok? what i need to do with the classes folders? ty for everything

EDIT: also i im editng the ini just now, ths is a bit difficult than i expect :p, to play TAM gamemode, its compatible with ut2vote? in this case, how i add it? i mean in te votinggametipe setion of the ut2vote51.ini, i have to select in mutator de tam mut and anything more? ty

Looks like you are on the right track.

The classes folders can be deleted after you have your ucl and u files made.

All that needs to be done now is to add the additional gametypes to ut2vote so they can be selected, create the default maplists and give it a test.

how i log in like admin in ut2vote? i don see any button...
EDIT: ok admin logged ^^ one more question the maplist and map rootation...
maplist-> how i add a number of mapsa to a game mode in the ut2vote?
map rotation-> in the server all day we play de 4 ****ing same maps, ho can i do to play minimun 20 maps until we can play the firsto one?

Ok, if you want to use Maplists.
[UT2Vote51.UT2VoteGameTypes]
1) In each game that you want a maplist, in the GameType= string, look where it says UseMaplist=False - make that say UseMapList=True
2) Look where it says MapLimits=0 make that say.. MapLimits=5
This means this map can only be voted for after 5 levels have passed since it was last voted.
3) The actual MapList will be formed in your UT2004.ini file
4) So once you have set everything, start the server then stop the server so that these Maplists are created in the UT2004.ini file so that you can find them and add maps to them.
5) Just remember that in each "GameType=" string there is a DefaultMap= just make 100% sure that map is in your MapList else your server will CRASH!

ok, that ok but to create the maplist? i mean to say that map is to the maplist assault, that map goes to the maplist ictf... etc..?

The MapList is created by the Gametype.
So for Assault if you look in your UT2004.ini file you will find:
[UT2K4Assault.ASMapList]
Maps=AS-CONVOY
Maps=
etc etc.............

If you created a game with Gamemake called MyGame then the MapList will be MyGame.MapListMyGame and will go in the UT2004.ini file.
MyGame.MapListMyGame
Maps=AS-CONVOY
Maps=
etc etc.............

last question(i hope), in trial assault, I want to desactivate that thing... when a player can pass throught another player, u know... we have several problems to complete the objetives because we hit with te other players anda we have to wait that player to jump, also a lot of n00bs use the shieldgun to throw us to the holes and death :mad:
can we activate that in utvote?

EDITED: also to do that ut2vote starts at the restar of a server? ( when i close th server to make configurations, i have to add the mutator again to echa game mode in webadmin, and the voting a map to make that the ut2vote run) may have to puto a command line in somewere of teh server.ini? i read sth in the ut2vote readme but i don understand it...(soz mates, im spanish and i dont understando somethings :S)

use in your start up command line you can change the map to what ever you want i just used this as an example

to make a serverstart.bat file copy and paste this:

As shov3l says.
Create yourself a serverstart.bat using the script shown, then instead of executing Ucc.exe as you are now doing, execute serverstart.bat :)

yea yea yea thats right, but to avoid the colission between players?, how can i avoid that? there is sth in the game type section? or is writting in the ini?
