Yeah, DS, those are spot-on scary.

Now back to |C|.

1) Most people here recognize the clan tag |C| because there are several members that post here.
2) Many people recognize them because the |C| tag shows up in lost of thread subject lines. Blatant summed it up nicely.
3) The Roost (|C|'s home turf) is listed on the front page of PU as a server. Many people from PU use it.
4) Fame has it's price.

People are going to hold you guys to higher standards (right or wrong) because they know many of you.

I sympathize that it's a pain in the @ss to be in the spotlight, and surely people could cut some slack. I mean, playing the game at it's best does create a lot of headaches that have to get vented in some form...people are gonna lose their cool...it's life. But the limelight is tough.

So, anyone else wanna pick on ]LoL[ for a while?

A lot of the members of |C| met here at the forums, and are still current posters.

The |C| clan kicks ass. Not just on the ladders, but I personally have fun playing against any of them.

I like to watch their progress as I feel I am friends with a lot of them, and feel pride, as a PuF'fer, at their successes.

I've been out the last week or so, so I'm not exactly sure what prompted this post at this time. I do know that people are individuals, and that not all members of |C| are forumers.

Just by the fact that |C| is in the top of the ladders, they will be under the spotlight whether they like it or not.

Individuals of the clan should NOT be associated with these boards unless they're sporting the PuF tag. That's only Rooster, Alarion, and DragonAsh if I remember straight.

Like Roo said, if you are talking about |C|, complain to them on their own boards or email. I've seen this forum used many times as other people venting about people or clans, instead of going to the source. Problems should not be vented openly and publicly. They should be vented out face to face...so to speak in this electronic age.

umm, you can add Carnage (who went as havester backi nthe day, as well as Ashram.)

Been away for a while and didn't realize |C| was catching heat. I've always admired C as a clan that was talented but tried hard to maintain a positive image, (except for DA) but you have to take the good with the bad I personnally haven't noticed anything diffenent except for a lot of new faces in the C ranks and some veterans that apparently moved on. Anyway, don't worry to much about what others think.

This is sort of a sore point with me. And I agree in part with what you have said Rooster.

I absolutely agree. But I have a question. Why are you saying "PuF has done..."? Don't you mean that some people registered at the forums have done...? Sorry to say this, and people are going to get angry but, I have always found this idea that PuF is more than "Planet Unreal Forums" thing to be more than hypocritical. I think that people should behave themselves, but I'm not going to self anoint myself with a tag to proclaim that I am a well behaved player whether anyone else thinks that I am or not. If someone ELSE could take the tag from me on the grounds of bad behaviour then it might mean something. It cant be. So it just means what the player wants it to mean.

Where am I going with this. Well, I may be alone here, but as a registered member of "PuF" I think it means "Planet Unreal Forums". And I don't think for a second that |C| is a clan of Paladins, or care really one way or the other. Have fun guys, play nice but leave me (as an actual member of "PuF") out of it please.

If you are having problems with this "meaning of PuF" thing and can think of anything that can be done about it, then we have common ground and I would love to help if I can be of help. Just dont lump me into the group that is causing you problems please. I would guess that of the thousands of registered members, most are not involved.

As a final comment, I genuinely admire many people that wear the PuF tag BECAUSE I know that they mean it and try to live up to it (whatever that means). But because it is entirely self assigned, there are many other people that wear the PuF tag that give the others a mixed reputation. That is meant to explain to some that I am not painting everyone here with the same brush. Lots of good folks here actually.

I have played against |C| in a OGl match and have played on the Roost and have nothing but respect for |C|. Specially Rooster who always is to me the most standup guy you can ever meet!!

I think we should put Rooster in the whitehouse instead of the two other clowns!!
