Nice one here, the Krall is perfect. And yeah, 849 on the title

Although I want the Mercenaries to be bought back. I'm talking about the robotic mercs with MachineGun/RocketLauncher/GodModeSkill. ****ing awesome baddies.
And those were the rivals of the Skaarj, so some kind of war between them in an Unreal 3 would be cool.

UnknownTarget@: the Unreal storyline started to get horrible with UT2k4, deleting what was happened in UT2k3. Big paradoxes here.
Unreal 1's one was pretty good with its mini-plots and stories about Nali, Gods, Krall, etc...

Thanks Erosion. I was hoping someone would notice the 849 and make the obvious connection.

I found some modeled yet untextured versions of the Krall, but they were low-res, so I had a lot of cleaning up and painting/coloring to do. The Skaarj is a slightly mutated and repainted version of the UT2004 CoverArt render. He was incomplete, so I had to do some patching. Originally, I actually gave him the same treatment that I gave the Krall, but I felt it did not look as good in the higher-resolution, so I re-accomplished him with minimal texture changes. I also gave him a more menacing feature set, albeit more subtle than I wanted.

After all that work, I ended up settling on a minimalistic background, which is a modified and recolored blend of screenshots from two UT3 maps.
