Hello All,

Something occured to me the other day, while I was out jogging and sprinting. One's vision is pretty well blurred from the body's movement while jogging, and gets almost completely "bounced" out while sprinting.

These effects go well beyond the gently "bouncing camera" views we have in the game, and if it's possible to rig Infiltration to do this, it would add a great deal more realism, and would certainly heighten the level of uncertainty and suspense that's already present in the game.

Yours!

I have that feature already! It's called "LCD with 25ms* Reponse Time"! If you like seeing blurs everytime you take a step and having absolutely no idea where anything is until you stop moving, then go out and pick up a cheap LCD. It'll change your gaming experience, significantly.

*They claim 25ms response time but it feels more like 30. I can't wait for them to invent a 12ms LCD with a 32 bit color spectrum instead of 8 bit, which they have now.

On a more serious note, it would be a nifty feature, but I would make it an 'eye candy' feature instead of a full time feature. Fortunately, all the next-gen engines can do your blur effect easily. See Halo, DX:IW, R6:RS, etc, etc.

LOL. That's funny. That screenshot says it all, doesn't it? I was debating, for a LONG time, what kind of monitor I wanted for my next rig, and I almost went with a LCD. I did a lot of research though, and decided against it. The irony is that as nice as they look, they simultaneously display poor graphics.

Not if you shell out 2000$ for a 12ms one. Do yourself a favor and buy a 1024x768 projector, play INF full size on your wall :D

Well i think we should all get big virtual-reality goggles. not those cheap ones that make your monitor turn 3d: "Ooh look the paper man in my monitor is slightly closer than the other paper man! Whoopee!" I'm talkin 180 degree field of view 45mm depth of field goggles.

I was using cheap Asus 3d googles with my old GF2 card. Playing INF was a blast especially since all other shooters tended to have 2 crossairs ;)

The only problem: After playing longer than 20 minutes I usually had a hell of a headache (My monitor couldn't do more than 100 Hz so it was 50 Hz for each eye) and eating Aspirin all day isn't really an alternative...
