Are there any other games like UT2004?

My question is pretty much straightforward. I'm wondering if there are any other FPS games for example the Quake/Doom/Halo series or other such games, that have an interface like UT2004.

By this I mean: you install the game and load it and presto you're looking at a console with the UT2004 gametypes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, CTF etc. where you can just click on the gametype you want and immediately start playing it. No small movies or short stories to go through, just click and and start shooting.

Just wondering if the UT2004 console format exists in other games and which ones if so.

Let's see, Unreal, UT99, Unreal II XMP, UT2003, UT3
Well, Red Faction has something like that, yet it has only 3 small maps that are multiplayer.

Never played any other FPS other than Unreals, Red Faction and Doom, so can't help too much, lol

Sorry....let me clarify...........I'm asking about NON-UT games.

I don't get it. Have you checked out Warsow? because you didn't mention it in your post. You asked for a game with a similar interface to UT2004. Then you tell us you want a NON-UT game. Doesn't make any sense to me.

There is no game out there that comes close.
Quake is about as similar as you're going to get imho.The rest are slow,clunky,and just have your basic console moves all which suck for a fast FPS like UT,but are ideal for the slower kind like COD and Halo.

As far as the interface goes that should the last consideration imho.I've seen some good UI's,but if they do not have a good multiplayer system or players what's the point?Sorry couldn't help.

In 2k4 u know you can disable all of the intro movies so maybe if u check the game's forums (especially stickies) you will find what you need to save yourself some time prior to playing with an ini tweak or something.Long shot,but worth a look.

Warsow(WSW) is much more like quake 3,aim for high-speed movement,trick jumps,dashes...etc,gameplay's flow is much faster than UT series.
